How We Work

Rocking horse restorers

If you provide us with photos, dimensions and your postcode, we can usually respond with a detailed cost estimate and photos of our previous work on rocking horses of the same type.

If you are the owner of a distressed rocking horse of any type, we will be pleased to hear from you.

We specialise in restoring wooden rocking horses, antique rocking horses such as those by Ayres or Lines, fibreglass rocking horses by Haddon and skin-covered horses, but we can often assist with other types too.

Our Services

We are expert restorers of rocking horses of many different types.

Preservation

We specialise in the sympathetic, sensitive, authentic and historically accurate revival of the finest old and antique rocking horses.

Restoration

We also restore many different types of vintage and modern wooden rocking horses, whether made by a professional maker or an amateur.

Variation

We can restore wood or fibreglass rocking horses and pony-skin covered horses. We can often restore fur fabric or plush rocking horses.

Limitation

Sorry, but it is not cost-effective for us to provide very minor repairs or just replace a mane and tail unless it is part of a wider restoration.
